In the hinterland of Puglia, in 'Serra del Porco', in a central position betweenMartina FrancaAlberobelloLocorotondoNightsMassafra eMottola, a 530 m of altitude, you will find ‘bird house’, a farmhouse dating back to 1800. The landscape context is typical of the wooded Murgia, with ancient scattered farms and arable land alternating with pastures and woods. In the woods there are majestic horns and some oaks, with a variety of Mediterranean shrubs, including lentisks, cyst, junipers and perasters that in spring give bright chromiums that return in autumn with warmer colors.

All the rooms of the farm are lined up, the old house of the massari and the service areas, including a wood oven. The farmhouse has been renovated with an excellent conservative taste that maintains a link between modern building technologies, local history and culture. The redevelopment of all environments, trulli e lamie, it was created with the restoration or reuse of native materials, stone and lime plasters. The interior furnishings reflect the ancient poor art, essential, enriched by the creative recycling of peasant tools; the many niches carved into the thickness of the walls are the sideboards, as in the past.
